Technopol SA is a proud member of EWASA, the Polystyrene Association of South Africa, supporting industry-wide efforts in sustainable and responsible polystyrene manufacturing, recycling, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
EWASA membership requires tracking and reporting waste volumes, supporting our goal of transparent waste management performance.
In-house scrap recovery and reuse processes reduce production waste and minimise landfill contribution.
Our LiteCore® bricks meet fire safety standards (SANS 10177-2, SANS 10400 Part T, SANS 428) and are fully compliant with SANS 204 for energy efficiency.

Technopol SA maintains a suite of formal governance documents covering our integrated management system, data protection obligations, and website privacy practices. All policies are reviewed regularly and signed off at Managing Director level.
The TIMS Policy is the foundation of how Technopol SA operates. It integrates our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 commitments into a single unified framework — covering our people, our customers, quality, the environment, community, and the wellbeing of our entire workforce.
This policy governs how Technopol SA collects, processes, discloses, and safeguards the personal information of clients and employees in accordance with the POPI Act. It outlines individual rights, the purpose of data collection, consent requirements, and the procedures in place to protect all personal information held by the company.
This policy covers how Technopol SA collects, uses, and protects information gathered through the www.technopol.co.za website — including personal identifiable data, usage data, and cookies. Approved and signed by the Managing Director on 27 July 2023 and reviewed on an ongoing basis.
